How does Yumamay compare to traditional fish sauce in taste?

Yumamay delivers the same rich, umami-packed flavor profile as traditional fish sauce. Our unique combination of ingredients using fermented soy, mushrooms, and other plant-based ingredients creates that deep, savory taste you expect, leaving no surprises when working with our sauce.

How do I use Yumamay in my recipes?

Use Yumamay exactly like traditional fish sauce - it's a true 1:1 replacement. Add it to stir-fries, soups, marinades, dipping sauces, and any recipe calling for fish sauce. Start with the same amount your recipe calls for and adjust to taste.

How should I store Yumamay and how long does it last?

Store Yumamay in a cool, dry place. Once opened, refrigerate and use within 12 months for best quality.

Is Yumamay safe for people with seafood allergies?

Yumamay does not contain fish or shellfish ingredients. It is a plant-based product made from ingredients such as mushrooms, soybeans, and tea.

However, Yumamay is manufactured on shared equipment that also processes milk, egg, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, and sesame. While standard cleaning procedures are followed, this information is provided so individuals with allergies can make informed decisions.

Is Yumamay certified vegan and organic?

Yumamay is made entirely from plant-based ingredients and contains no animal-derived components. However, Yumamay is not currently certified Vegan or certified Organic.

We are actively working toward obtaining recognized certifications such as Vegan and Non-GMO Project verification.

At this time, Yumamay is made with organic and non-GMO ingredients.

Please note that this does not mean the finished product is certified Organic or Non-GMO until formal certification is complete.
